Fantastic experience: Hiya I've been working with Alasdair Littley since September 2024. You know when you've done something to your body and now you need an ostiopath, and they always ask, how did you hurt yourself .... And that answer is not really something you want to share, mmmhmmm that was me. However, I new I had to take the truth with this one. From my first constitution, I found Alasdair to be open and honest about the treatment I needed and everything that is involved with getting my body out of trauma response and into healing. It's been a test on me, and with his humor and his skilled/knowledgeable hands he's been able to move a lot of those issues. I'm moving better now, compared to when I hobbled into his Whau Valley clinic. I use Whau valley and Maunu clinics. Highly recommend Alasdair

I have been going to their practice for many years, for osteo treatment for multiple sports injuries and am currently getting treated by Michael, for a back injury. He has also been working on improving a range of issues- including getting flexibility and range of motion back into my joints, after stiffness and swelling caused by rheumatoid arthritis. Michael is a phenomenal practitioner, an excellent pragmatic osteo, who is passionate about what he does, exerting his extensive knowledge into his appointments. He has a great sense of humour, but is serious about ensuring he gets your treatment plan right- that it fits into your lifestyle, including beneficial exercises to develop strength, to prevent further injuries or pain. My child has worked with Counsellor Rach who is just amazing at listening to whanau and tamariki, engaging and working alongside the client to achieve wellbeing goals. She is fun and down to earth, though with good boundaries that ensure progress to wellbeing. Very skilled at working with busy young kids who need to move and has a range of different techniques and sensory items to support regulation. Balances well confidentiality of the child while keeping whanau involved in the process. I am also a clinician and can not recommend Rach highly enough! I've also worked with Osteo Ali for a while now. I have a complex condition that requires long term treatments. I have seen various other disciplines for treatment before, but have never had success as I have with Ali. He takes time to listen, assess and works to provide effective relief including in clinic as well as strategies to implement at home. Expert knowledge and skills on a wide range of health issues including complex physical, medical and mental health and wellbeing. Ali keeps up to date with his own professional development regarding patient needs to ensure he is working in accordance with best practice. Anything he doesn't know, he will research and he shares this in a way that ensures the patient can understand without all of the jargon. He is very respectful in his practice and communicates effectively with your wider health care team where required - and these are always very well regarded and provide greater insight for the specialists. Ali cares about your holistic wellbeing and takes time to get to know you and asks how your family are doing too. He's fun for kids, has a great sense of humour, is down to earth as well as being very professional. The entire team are welcoming and professional. A great service with great philosophies that leave you mana enhanced and supported on your journey to wellbeing and recovery!

Fantastic experience: I suffered 3 assaults - 2 kicks to the jaw & a heavy door slammed with force to my L/R temple area. I endured pain in my neck from 2013 to July 2023. The diagnosis of osteoarthritis (multiple levels in my cervical spine) was given as being the cause of my pain. I have tried different health therapies since 2013 in an effort to alleviate or fix my neck pain issue. Alasdair Littley - osteopath assessed me and found my jaw had been knocked out of its normal position. After, up to 8 sessions with Alasdair I now have no pain in my neck.

Fantastic experience: Definitely one of the best practices in Whangarei for Osteopathy and Alignment. Long term accident related injury issues (knee, hip, back, shoulders, neck) where the symptoms worsened with ageing (yes, we all age). Apart from doing the osteo side of things, they give the exercises for strengthening of muscles around the issues. It has been a long journey for getting my physical ability back. I have taken my child there for growth related bone alignment too: she was given exercises for these too. Alasdair (both director and osteopath) is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. In my view, he has a humble personality and loves teaching about what he is doing. Other practitioners (who I have seen at times)there are awesome too.
