Fantastic experience: Dr Steve is my goto chiropractor in Hamilton. He is a gentle and considerate practitioner and I always walk out feeling much better. The staff take care to create a calm and soothing environment in which patients can heal in individual treatment rooms. Everyone is made welcome and I always feel listened to regarding injuries and health concerns. I've never felt dismissed or rushed out. Dr Steve also helped my newborn grandaughter with colic. Fantastic experience: I attended Steve at Blue Sky Chiropractic after years of talking about looking into an issue with my left arm, elbow and fingers frequently becoming tingly and numb. The catalyst for my decision was being unable to sleep due to the symptoms developing into continuous pain in my left elbow. Steve quickly zeroed in on a misalignment in my spine and some compression on my neck vertebrae causing restriction on nerves and the referred pain and tingling. The tools Steve uses provided me with a useful baseline of my situation, and regular measurable checks of progress with the issues. I have now been attending for a few months and the pain is now long gone and I can feel symmetrical alignment in my spine, which correlates to a number of interesting observations - the most obvious being able to ride my bike no-handed without having to lean to the left to keep going straight! I have noticed a number of additional benefits to the treatment including less headaches, better sleep and more mental clarity. I would certainly recommend Steve to everyone. He has a cheerful warm manner and is able to explain his observations in very clear and non-baffling language.

Negative experience: Gave him a go but found his therapy not effective at all. Waste $$

Fantastic experience: Steve is hands down the best Chiropractor I have ever been to. I have been to several Chiropractors over the years due to some recent and long-standing issues, I was in pretty bad shape when I first arrived with Steve. Due to the intensive program Steve initially recommended, the initial outlay was quite large; however, it has been worth every penny. I have been amazed at the progress I have made and have really enjoyed seeing the results of the thermal imaging and stress tests done. Steve and Carmel (front of house) work like a well-oiled machine and are always efficient and great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Steve long enough now to know whether it is worth it or not. It ABSOLUTELY is!!! Today I thanked Steve because he has genuinely made a difference to my health and wellbeing. Due to my job, I had resigned myself to always having neck and back pain however since I’ve been having adjustments regularly things have improved immensely. Fantastic experience: Seen Steve a few times for adjustments. Always been a great and positive experience.

Negative experience: First visit was a waste of $95, it was merely a click or two in my back, second visit was better by honestly hundreds of miles compared to the first expensive visit. Third visit… this is where things killed it for me. $65 for maybe 10 minutes and about 3 clicks at max. Some maneuvers actually hurt more than helped. I just feel this place is almost placebo but more so a waste of money. Surely there is better out there where they actually have time for their clients and do more than just your back and 3 clicks. Sorry Steve but I won’t be coming back here nor will I recommend this place to anyone I know.

Fantastic experience: My five month old baby boy and I went to see Steve as I have a sore back and my son has a tendency to lean his head to one side. Steve has been amazing, he is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all procedures. My son and I felt instantly better after seeing him. Fantastic experience: I have been a client at Blue Sky Chiropractic for several months now. I initially visited Dr Steve Swain to get some relief from a shoulder injury which had plagued me for 2 years, this injury is now 99% pain free which is fantastic, but the biggest bonus has actually been to finally get some relief from 40 years of debilitating migraine headaches. I had gotten to the stage where nothing previous had helped (apart from taking copious amounts of medication) and had all but given up on ever finding relief, I still get the occasional migraine, but the severity has decreased immensely. I am so grateful to Steve for his work....thank you very much. I also would like to give a big shout out to Carmel, the lovely "front face" of the Clinic, Carmel has the biggest smile ever, and it's always a pleausure to be greeted by such a friendly face who always makes you feel special...thanks Carmel.

Fantastic experience: Steve has been helping us for over a year now. At first I brought my young daughter to him because I hoped that he could help her flat feet. With Steve's gentle help and orthotic insoles her feet are getting better and better. Steve says that he can help her muscles relax and communicate more closely with her brain and I really think it helps. I was quite worried about my daughter before but now it seems that her feet are only slightly flat and over time will take a normal shape with no need for any traumatic intervention. A couple of months ago I hurt my neck. It was very painful but as I was already familiar with Steve's mad skills I went straight to him and he was able to sort my neck out and it was quickly back to normal. While he was checking out my neck he picked up a few sore areas in my back which I was putting up with but he thought he could ease. I'm quite surprised to say that now my whole body is much stronger, from the tips of my fingers that were numb from RSI all through my arms and legs. I find I am now comfortable lifting heavy weights around 100kg and turning my head right around when I am reversing the tractor- strength and flexibility that I thought I had lost. Steve is really a specialist and I think many people would be well advised to call on him. He is very gentle and able to turn his knowledge into real results. Thanks Steve

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Steve late last year after injuring my back. After doing some tests, it turned out I had a bulging disc and some wear and tear on another. The pain was so bad that I was unable to work. Through Steve’s chiropractic adjustments I started to feel a lot better. It was was such a relief! Steve has also truly worked wonders, reducing my pain levels for another medical condition. After five long years, I had almost given up hope that I would ever feel better. Fantastic experience: After suffering a rotator cuff injury, I had been to a couple of different treatment providers and I had got to a stage where it felt better after a treatment, however soon after, the pain would return and I had to be really careful not to aggravate during each gymn session. I was referred to Steve via a friend, so I thought why not, I have nothing to lose. By the second session I had with Steve, I was sleeping through the night (something I hadn't done for around 6 months), and I was pain free. I have just completed 12 sessions, and am able to do body weight exercises and lift some light weights. I am over the moon!! So, if you want to feel as great as I do, whether it is due to an injury or just need an overall boost, Steve is your man :)

Fantastic experience: I was told about Steve from another health professional and what a shot of luck that was. Steve has sorted out some very old back issues, worked on some others that have been identified and put together a maintenance plan going forward, including some very light stretching that has netted huge benefits to me. I have managed to come off my medication and have a lot less pain since seeing Steve. I have also have had only 1 migraine in a while.
