She totally understands your struggles and issues your going through with your injury. Her ability to diagnose my struggles and then inform me of a pathway forward to healing was crazy cool. Negative experience: Not a good experience and will probably end up making a formal complaint - service not performed with reasonable skill. Saw Dewi who appeared to be new, wasn't up to speed with the system they use, didn't know how to extend an ACC claim. Waste of my time to see an osteo who says they can't help cause I can't identify the exact pinpoint location where the pain is and I'm too cautious about setting it off (never had this approach from 3 other previous osteos). Additionally I asked for exercises that I could do to help, and she refused to suggest any because she "wasn't comfortable with that" because I'm 10w pregnant, directed me back to my midwife for that (even after I advised that my midwife would just direct me back to an osteo or someone else -since I have a back injury-). After the appt I realised that she seemed to think I was asking for general exercise ideas (activities like walking, running, etc) when I was actually asking for exerciseS, and I even specifically mentioned "maybe just to strengthen my lower back" so it was clear I wasn't asking about walking, etc. And lastly, after I spoke about an approach that I -didnt find helpful- with the Pain Clinic I had previously attended (where they say that you won't hurt yourself, your pain is "real" but you're making it happen by fretting about it) she basically repeated exactly what I had just said wasn't helpful, back to me. She even used the exact same study to illustrate her point as they did - 'most elderly people scanned for a study had degeneration in their spine and 60% didn't feel any pain from it'. Not relevant to me since I'm not elderly and I DO feel pain. Felt like she just wanted me to stop talking and go away. Waste of my time and money. Services should be performed with reasonable care and skill and this was so disappointing I had a cry in my car afterwards. Not even coming away from an osteo appointment with exercises to do to help? What was the point of the appointment then.

Fantastic experience: I've been suffering with complex regional pain syndrome and hypersensitivity of the nervous system for, over 20 years.. This team is lead by an extremely compassionate owner, and backed up by some of the best Osteopaths I've ever delt with. I've been with this amazing group of people since 2015, and they are extremely passionate about their clients well-being, (extremely, supportive when dealing with, the people at ACC) I'm not one for credit where it's not due , as you can see from my other reviews. But I can honestly say that the community needs more practitioners, and ACC treatment provider's, who are totally , committed to, and intrested in a whole person holistic treatment approach .. They often go out of their way in times of, enormous pain flair ups... I believe that's call above and beyond the call of duty.. Greatful for, each and everyone of the Team.

Fantastic experience: I had fertility acupuncture with Violaine for 3 months. She really helped me deal with the emotions after a tough miscarriage and after one cycle of treatments had my ovulation back on track and I’m now expecting again. Violaine was incredibly supportive throughout it all and I would highly recommend anyone with similar issues to go see her, even if only to help you relax during what can be a stressful time

Positive experience: Hi, I went to wellwest with a sciatica and knee problem and worked with the acupunctrist VIOLAINE VAIR-PIOVA and I can not recommend her more.She is amazing, empathtic and compassionate towards her patients and puts in 200% to listen and help the patient.I am scared of needles and Violaine with her ways put me to absolute ease.thanks

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Violaine Vair-Piova for acupuncture. She is magic, and puts in 200% in her session to ensure the right treatment for your pain. I went into Wellwest for Osteo treatment (I also highly recommend Martina as an Osteo) and was referred to Violaine for acupuncture and it was literally the best thing for me. Violaine brings to NZ much skill and experience and passion

Fantastic experience: I visited Rosanita for a massage treatment, this is my second time going back because she is fabulous. I felt so well respected, she maintained my dignity as well as providing an outstanding treatment. I went in with a stiff neck and sore shoulder, Rosanita was able to diagnose the problem areas and explained the suggested treatment. I have never felt better after seeing Rosanita and I look forward to visiting her again.
