Fantastic experience: I started seeing Sarah after injuring my knee during ski season, and she has been absolutely amazing! She used a combination of manual treatment and glucose injections to help me regain movement without pain. Since then, she has become my go-to for all my aches, pains, and injuries. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely cares about her patients, and always does an amazing job. I’m so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for great care!

Fantastic experience: Professional and effective treatment

Fantastic experience: I have had extreme issues with pain in my joints and have gone through almost every department at the hospital with no results. I started seeing Sarah at the end of October last year for P.I.T injections and have noticed a significant difference. This is the first treatment that has given me any relief from my pain. I really like Sarah’s manner and how she takes on all information. I feel listened to and comfortable in Sarah’s office. I would recommend this treatment to anyone with any sort of pain.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving PIT injections from Sarah to help with hip pain. I have had an ongoing hip issues for several months and have tried a combination of approaches to improve it. After 3 PIT treatments I have noticed a definite reduction in pain when I walk and bike. I notice a change straight after the treatment. Sarah explains what she is doing and why very clearly so I not exactly what is happening. It is so good to be feeling like like I can do things again with out pain.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Sarah for PIT injections October 2024 following a reoccurring pain issue in my knees that wasn't getting better and was triggered by activities such as walking, hiking, biking etc. After the first session i noticed instant relief. I had weekly appts for about 5 weeks and now have reduced to once every 2-3 weeks. I have since been on holiday where I went for numerous walks involving hills and running after kids on bikes and felt pretty comfortable. PIT injections have really helped give me more freedom to get back doing what i love with reduced pain which is AMAZING! Sarah is fantastic, very approachable and explains information clearly.

Fantastic experience: My Case wasn’t the result of an accident, injury or surgery therefore I wasn’t covered by ACC and I don’t have health insurance. It began as an uncomfortable pain in my Glute, thigh and behind my knee or sometimes along the outside of my foot, all on the right side and only when sitting driving or passenger in a vehicle or in some cases chairs i.e. office chairs and restaurant dinning chairs. The pain started after more than 1 hour seated initially but worsened to the point of only being 10 to 15 minutes into a journey before becoming unbearable. I would need to sit in the back seat with my leg stretched out across the seat. Not always possible if back seat was not available or “I was driving”. After 11 months of trying many options namely GP, Physio, Osteopath and massage therapy, after 5 visits to my GP I went to Sports Clinic, first to see muscular skeletal specialist Mr Rob Cambell who diagnosed “Chronic Nerve Pain” due to enflamed nerves and recommended I see one of their chiropractors Margie Blacklow unfortunately after 6 visits she was unable to release the verves and felt she couldn’t do much more so referred me to the wonderful ‘Sarah Nelson’ for “Perineural Injection Treatment” which I had never even heard of but what else was left to try? It has been amazing to finally find something that works and know what it is, to be able to manage and cope with it and most of all a vast improvement. Pain has halved and takes longer to come on, the swelling of the inner knee has also reduced. Sarah’s background in massage and vast understanding of the bodies nerves and muscles makes her super intuitive as to placement of injections which are hardly noticeable and often not even felt. 12 months on from the commencement of this mystery pain, I have just returned from the same holiday travel the started it all. I am so pleased to report a vast improvement only feeling a slight pain and a simple readjustment of my position in the seat and it was gone. I cannot recommend Sarah and her “Perineural Injection Treatment” highly enough – amazing!

Fantastic experience: Sarah's PIT injections really helped to expedite my recovery. I wasn't able to lift up my arm past my shoulders, after the injections, I felt immediate pain relief and the recovery was so quick I was mobile the next day!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Perineural Injection Therapy with Sarah enough. I had a serious wrist injury that just wasn’t healing through physio treatments and I didn’t want steroid injections. After my first session I was pain free. I had 6 treatments and my wrist was finally healing and not disrupting my work and everyday life. I tell all my friends and clients who are dealing with chronic stubborn injuries to go to Sarah and she has helped them all.

Fantastic experience: I met Sarah through word of mouth after trying many methods of treatment to help ease ongoing neck problems, and was told about perineural injections. The results I have had from this form of treatment has been such a welcome relief for my stiffness, pain and movement. Whilst it isn't a cure for my problem, it is just so nice to have long term relief of pain with regular treatment. Sarah and her calm, genuine approach with PIT has been life changing.

Fantastic experience: When I first went to see Sarah I was at my wits end, so jammed up and in a lot of pain. Sarah listens to you very intently and then devises a plan of action. Over a period of time Sarah managed to untangle my seized muscles/joints in my neck and lower back, give me exercises that actually work/help, and give me hope that I can live a pain free life. Sarah also gave me advice on how I can continue my job by changing ways I do things, which made a huge difference. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah to anyone, as she is an amazing chiropractor and person, and is easy to talk to. My life and back/neck is a lot happier after Sarah came in to it!

Fantastic experience: I head about Sarah Nelson chiropractor on the St Albans, Edgeware, Mairehau & Merivale Community Facebook page and booked my partner in who was experiencing musculoskeletal problems on his back, neck and shoulders. With the ACC subsidy payment the appointments were affordable and we were able to have regular weekly appointments. Fantastic experience: whenever ive had an injury whether it be a wry neck or hip pain etc Sarah has always sorted it out in a matter of days and I always leave after seeing her with immediate relief. First time I saw her I had been struggling with a hip injury that had been ongoing for over a month, I had seen a number of doctors and physios and had no progress whatsoever. I then heard about Sarah and tried my luck....my hip was sorted within the week and i was back playing football again.

Fantastic experience: Due to a back injury acquired from my duties as a registered nurse I got a herniated disc. I have seen physiotherapists, acupuncturists and chiropractors both in Hamilton and Auckland but the pain and my mobility has not improved at all. Luckily, I got a chance to get treated by Sarah.
